Office Cleaning London was founded in 2011 with one aim: to deliver commercial cleaning services that London businesses could genuinely rely on. After years in the industry watching clients deal with inconsistent quality, unreliable staff and poor communication from large national contractors, we built a different kind of cleaning company.

We keep our operation focused on London and the surrounding counties. We do not claim to cover the whole UK. We do not win contracts we cannot service properly. Our client retention rate reflects what we believe is the right way to run a cleaning business: consistent teams, open communication, and a straightforward approach to fixing problems when they occur.

Our Team

Every member of our cleaning team is DBS-checked, reference-verified and trained to BICSc standards before their first working day. BICSc (the British Institute of Cleaning Science) is the professional body for the cleaning industry, and its training standards cover cleaning methods, product knowledge, equipment operation, health and safety, and colour-coding hygiene systems. We do not allow untrained operatives to work on client contracts.

Our supervisors carry out regular quality checks using a written checklist and report issues to the operations team on the day they are found. We track quality scores by contract, by team and by supervisor, and we use this data to identify improvement needs early rather than waiting for clients to raise complaints.

What We Stand For

We believe the contract cleaning industry has a trust problem. Clients are often let down by contractors who win the contract on price and then cut quality to maintain margin. We have built our business on a different model: consistent quality first, transparent pricing always, problems fixed without argument.

We use eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaning products across all our contracts. Our suppliers are COSHH-compliant and all product data sheets are available on request. We use microfibre technology throughout, which reduces chemical usage by up to 80 per cent compared with traditional cotton mops and cloths (British Institute of Cleaning Science, 2022). Reduced chemical usage is better for your staff, better for the environment, and better for your building's material finishes.

Insurance and Compliance

We carry full public liability insurance to £5 million and employers liability insurance as required by the Employers Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969. Insurance certificates are provided to all new clients on request. We operate in full compliance with COSHH regulations and maintain up-to-date COSHH risk assessments for all cleaning products and methods used on client contracts.
